Exploring the world - New Continent (Swamp)

One day I wanted to go off into my mine so I set off for the furtherest away structure in the ocean. When I was almost there I caught glimpse of land. On the land were loads of tress with vines falling from them. When I reached the land I saw one of the funniest things, there was a lava pool at the surface setting all the surrounding trees on fire.

Luckily I had a bucket of water with me (I always take one to my mines) and turned it all into Obsidian. Then I jumped up onto a small hill (About five blocks high) and saw LOADS of red shrooms. By the time i'd finished collecting them all, I had about eighteen. Night was closing in so I killed a re of the chickens running around and jumped into a small cave, just visible from the surface. I threw a couple torches around inside, placed a Crafting Table, Furnace, two chests and sealed of the exit except for one block which I use as a guide to see when night was over (Light comes through)
