My Minecart Track

This is my Minecart Track I spent about three days making (Gathering mats, building everything, laying it all down and fixing it) I have no idea how much material I used but it was LOADS. I made it to connect my three houses (Main, Emergency and Shroom)

Song playing is Robert Miles - Children

Abandoned Mine

When I was on my journey looking for some cows for the Milk for my Cake, I came across a huge hole in the ground. I went to look at it and to my amazement I saw that it has planks and fences in it. I asked one of my friends what it could be and he replied, telling me it was an Abandoned Mine. I couldn't believe it! I finally found one!

I went down to explore, It was a huge maze of mine tracks, these Wooden plank and Fence shaft things and loads of Cobwebs.

By the time id run of of torches (Went through about three and a half stacks) two stacks of Iron Ore, forty-three Gold Ore, about 6 Pumpkin Seeds and three stacks of Rails, along with a few other things. Ill go back in a few more times with more torches and hopefully, better prepared.

My new skin

I decided I wanted a new skin after getting board with my old one (Duke Nukem 3D). I went to planet Minecraft to have a look and see what skins they had. On the skins page I saw that they had recently had a contest on the best Steam punk skin. I ended up using the skin that was chosen as the winner of this contest. I thought the skin looked great and loved the moustache the skin had.

The skin can be found at: http://www.planetminecraft.com/skin/sky-captain-hectar-watson-ramjet-iii/

My Little Underwater House

I built this underwater house right under my Shroom island. I built it because my spawn wasn't setting to the Shroom house (I don't think I had enough room) At first I was only going to make it out of dirt but because I wanted it to look special and because Id be using it quite a lot, I thought I may as well make something cool so I went with glass.

I Shaped the outline by placing a Jack-o-lantern at each corner where id be placing the glass, made a shell in front of the Jack-o-lanterns and placed a cobble stone border. Then I filled the shell with Wooden Planks, put a lid of Cobblestone over and finally put the glass  over all of it, leaving a little gap for my door. As you can see in the picture, the door is just a waterfall, From here is where I lit the Planks on fire and let them burn. Once the wood was gone, I mined out the Cobblestone, leaving me with a nice glass shell. I dug a hole one block down so the water would flow into there, however I found that it would drag me down to, taking long to get in, so what I did was mine a tunnel behind the block, place a Jack-o-lantern there and the water flowed into that tunnel letting me walk straight in.

The empty shell of my glass house with Jack-o-lanterns at the entrance. I also removed all the dirt around the house and replaced it with sand, making it look a lot nicer. (This cant be seen in the second picture as I hadn't got around to it then)
My glass house fully filled with Piston tables (Learned from a friend) with cakes (I spent about one hour searching for cows for the milk, I finally found some cows about fifteenth minutes south of my Shroom island) on them, a chair each side and to chest at the top corners of the bed. I also placed torches at each corner of the house, lighting it up nicely

My Pet Wolf Jess

Today while I was exploring the world, I came across a lone Wolf. Luckily I had 2 bones on me, exactly what the wolf needed to join me on my journey. I named my Wolf jess, after my dog.

Here is house I made for Jess. It isn't completed yet.

My Epic Red Shroom House - Issues Fixed

Here I removed all the dirt on the Ladder way and put Wooden Planks in, making it all look even and exactly the same. I also added a gate and some stairs on both the way up the ladder and the little bridge from land to the ladder.

Here is just added a Torch to every third Fence, lighting up the area a lot better.

My First Time on Minecraft Multiplayer

On 6-11-2011 my sister, my friends and myself decide to play some MP. Being it Minecraft we had a few issues at first but managed to get it going for about half an hour, untill the lag was to much.

My friend Aaron

So since that server wasn't going to well, I thought Id have a go at creating one. The map the server generated was a basic grasslands. I thought it would be a cool map for some MP because of the wide open spaces, the only problem I had was that I couldn't find any trees. So I went of looking for some and to my amazement I found something even cooler, A Mushroom Biome! I couldnt believe it! So i set off in that direction to explore it.

I ended up closing the server (As no one could connect for a decent amount of time but I was really happy to have finally seen a Mushroom Biome in person) But before I closed it I made one of the Shrooms into a house, much like my others.

My shroom village ( No smurfs included)

So, I only started playing Minecraft the other day because my brother got me into it.

One of the first things I wanted to build was a mushroom house, so I went around looking for some and found about five.

My Bro killed the skeletons for me, and put the mushrooms up with the bone meal.

In one of them I have a storage room with a chest, the other a furnace and crafting table. I still haven't decided on what to do with the other ones yet :P

I love my mushroom village! have fun everyone!

My Epic Red Shroom House - Farm

Here is the front of my Shroom house, I used a door because I need the extra dirt that I would normally have the trapdoor  on to stand on (So I don't kill my crops)

In the middle is a one x one square which I put water in and all around it, apart from where I'm standing is where I grow grain.

This is the roof to my Shroom Farmhouse, I cleared out the mushrooms roof and replaced it with glass.
Here is the chest in my Shroom Farm, I use it like I used the one in my Main/First House

My Epic Red Shroom House - The house and its surroundings finished

Here is the little island that the ladder up to the walk way, which leads to my mine is. I got rid  of the dirt and replaced it with sand to make it look nicer.

I make the ladder way three blocks wide and put Fences on the first and third blocks, making it much harder to fall off.

The walk way to my new and improved Shroom house/Village (I built another Shroom just like this one with a double chest in it for storing all my things) The walk way is three blocks wide and made of wood. I put Fences one the first and third blocks and a gate at the end.

Because I'm lazy, I built this little gate into my fence and dug out the dirt to make it faster to get down. All I do is open the gate, step onto its block, close and and fall through the gap, landing in the water safely.

Here is the inside of my new Shroom house. I placed the wooden planks below the original floor, chopped out the other floor, moved everything so it sat right and added a bed. It looks much better with the added head space. (I also placed a Furnace on top of my Crafting Table)

Here is my little Shroom Village from a distance (The one on the left is my Farm, the middle my storage room and the right, my house)

My Epic Red Shroom House - The House its self (Basic)

My Shroom house from a distance, I took this Screenshot to show what the blocks I used to get up looked like and how epic the house looks from a distance.
The entrance to my Shroom house. Its just a trapdoor with two ladders on the stork.

The inside of my Shroom house. On this side is a Crafting Table and a Chest is on the other side.

Exploring the World - Floating Island

So after night passed and I was finished with the swamp I went out exploring again. About 5 minutes into exploring I saw, what looked like a floating island and since its Minecraft I though it was just a mountain that hadn't loaded properly. So I went to see if this was the case. It wasn't untill I was almost under it that I saw that it was, in fact a little floating island.

To get to it I had to use all the blocks I had on me at the time. Some Dirt, my 8 Pumpkins and some planks I had. Once I got there I planted one of the Red Shrooms I had on me and used some Bonemeal on it to make it into a GIANT Red Shroom! Epic emergency housing. (Learnt it from one of my Good Friends)

Exploring the world - Emergency House

The entrance to my first emergency house I built on my newly found continent. I used a trap door and ladders to get down into my house.

Here is the walkway to get to my actual house. I built it like this to make sure if a creeper followed me and blew up, that my house would remain unharmed by the explosion. It also helps to make it more monster proof if I forget to close the trap door (It takes them more time to get to me and hopefully I'd hear them)
Door to main room house.

This is what my house looks like when you walk through the main door, just a basic cave with a Chest, Crafting Table and Furnace.

Room with my Double Chest, Crafting Table and Furnace.

Walk way to secret entrance which I use at night so monster don't see me and I die as soon as I exit (It exits over water)

Ladder and trapdoor to surface of secret walkway.

Secret entrance. Had to build the wall around it because water came flowing in. Its simply made out of dirt. I put torches around so monsters don't spawn on it or around it.

My little walk way to get back to main land. It is built out of lilly pas so it looks cool over the swampy water.

A little tower I built so I can easily find my emergency house encase I need to find it or if I'm in a hurry. At the top is a little blank square so I can see if its night (I put the torches up later but that's what the square was original for)
